Gifts to Sudan

Volunteer with us

Everyone who works on Gifts to Sudan is a volunteer. Nobody is paid from donations, and nobody takes expenses from them. If you have an hour a week and a careful heart, there is a place for you.

What can I help with?

  • Writer (Arabic or English): field notes, ledger summaries, careful words.
  • Translator: Arabic and English, later other languages.
  • Checker: we do not have one yet. We are looking for a second pair of eyes on payments and receipts.
  • Sanctions screener: helps check names against public sanctions lists.
  • Designer or photo editor: credits, crops, removing location data.
  • Developer: the website, the ledger, security.
  • People inside Sudan who can refer families or buy goods: please write to us privately. You will never be named on this site.

What do volunteers promise?

To work unpaid; to keep every family's details private; to never share faces, names or places; to never ask anyone for money in our name outside this website; and to tell us at once if something looks wrong.

Or simply write to info@giftstosudan.org with the subject "Volunteer".
